Speed = 40 km/hour => \(40\over60 \)minute=\( 4\over6 \)
s = \(d\over t\)

Answer is: 156
If it's the total number of strikes, then it's 1 + 2 +3....+ 12 all multiplied by 2, because we are calculating it for a day (24 hours).
For Calculating purpose
First 12 Hours is => 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12
Next 12 Hours is => 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

Answer is : 21 years

let sum=x, s.i. = x

rate = \(100 * x \over x * 7\) = \(\frac{100}{7}\% \)

now,

sum = x, s.i. = 3x, rate = \(\frac{100}{7}\%\)

time = \(\frac{100 * 3x}{\frac{x * 100}{7}}\%\)

\(=> 7 *3 \%\)

=21 %
