Ans: 302

The series is written using the pattern :

\(4 × 2 + 4 = 12\),

\(12 × 2 + 6 = 30\),

\(30 × 2 + 8 = 68\),

\(68 × 2 + 10 = 146\),

\(146 × 2 + 12 = 304\),

\(304 × 2 + 14 = 622\).

Therefore, number 302 should be replaced by 304.
