Explanation:

The speed of light remains unaltered with the changes in temperature and it is \(3 \times 10^8\)m/sec in vacuum. Howerer, the speed of light differs in different mediums (different refractive indices) as follows:

\(\lambda =\frac{c} { \nu}\)

Where C = speed of light in vacuum and \( \nu\) is refractive index of medium
