sequence is : 2 , 4, 8, ?, 22. 32 .......(i)
this sequence can be rewritten as
2, 2+2, 4+4, ?, ?+8, 22+10
2, 4, 8, ?, ?+10, 32 ..............(ii)

From (i) and (ii)
?+8 = 22
? = 22-8
? = 14
