Yakshagana is the form of theatre which is very famous in the state of Karnataka in some of its district or region. It is mainly performed in the region of Malendu and the region of Coastal areas. The programmed of Yakshagana is mainly performed during the night time. It is said this is the form which is taken from the movements of Bhakti which is one of the pre classical form of dance. There are some of the districts of Karnataka where Yakshagana is very popular.
