4 men +12 women + 20 children = 4 men+ 6 men+ 8 men = 18 men
When 6 men do 1 work in 12 days18 men will do the same in 4 days.

Remaining work = \(\frac{1}{2}\)
\(\therefore \frac{M_1 D_1}{W_1} = \frac{M_2 D_2}{W_2}\)
