The maximum marks for an examination is 900. A student fails by 43 marks ifhe gets 33% of the maximum marks, What are pass marks?

Answer is : 342
33% of 900 
\(= \frac{33}{100}*900\)
=297

so Pass Marks = 297 + 43 = 342
