Answer is : 27

Explanation:

Days       Children      

12           18

8             x

8 : 12 = 18 : x

 8x = 12 × 18

x = \(\frac{12 \times 18}{8}\)  = 27

Note : you can use the formula :M1 D1 = M2 D2 and solved it.
