In a 20 overs cricket match, team A has scored 245 runs. At the end of 12 overs, the chasing team B has a run rate of 6.7. What is the required run rate for team B to win the game?
A18.23
B19.62
C20.7
D10.53

Answer:-C

solution:-

total runs is 20 overs = 246

Average of runs in 12 overs = 6.7

Sum of runs in 12 overs = 6.7*12 = 80.4

Runs need in running 8 overs = 246 - 80.4

                                                   =165.6 runs

Average runs in 8 overs = 165.6/8 = 20.7
