In a camp 180 students had ration for 20 days. How many students should leave the camp if the ration should last for 25 days?
A36
B24
C28
D40

Correct answer is:36

Explanation:

Total Ration = x

Consumption of Each student for 20 days =x180

Consumption of Each student for Per day =x180×20

  Consumption of Each student for Per day =x3600

Now we want ration to continue for 25 days.

Total of number of students be y for 25 days consumption.

x3600×y×25=x

y=360025=144

So total number of students to leave = 180 - 144 = 36
