Explanation:

Let the number of students in Arts. Commerce and Science be

3x, 5x and 8x respectively.

On increasing their respective numbers,

Required ratio

\(=\Large 3x \times \frac{12}{100} : 5x \times \frac{140}{100} : 8x \times \frac{125}{100}\)

= 360 : 700 : 1000 = 18 : 35 : 50
