From the options,
2x + 3x + 4x + 5x = 1400
=> 14x = 1400  x = 100
shares are : Rs. 200, Rs. 300.
Rs. 400 and Rs. 500.
Hence, total sum = 200 + 300 + 400 + 500
= Rs. 1400
