                  64 = 8W
(Dividing both sides by 8), gives
                  8 = W
 
So width of the room is 58 meters.

Let the breadth of rectangle = x cm
so, \(x^2 + 8^2 = 10^2\)
\(x^2 + 64 =100\)
\(x^2 = 100 -64\)
\(x^2 = 36\)
\(x = 6\)

Perimeter = 2 (length + breadth)
=2(8 + 6)
=2(14)
=28
