Nuclear power is one of the most important new energy sources in the 20th century. India has a large amount of nuclear minerals. India has a huge power deficit and has a great deal of nuclear plants. India is considering the importance of nuclear power and has established manufacturing centers and manufacturing centers for its production.

Today there are 7 nuclear power plants in India.

1) Tarapur nuclear power station
It is India's first nuclear power plant. It was founded in 1969 at Tarapur near Mumbai.

2) Rana Pratapasagar Atomic Power Station:
It is located at Ranapratapsagara in Kota district of Rajasthan. It was commissioned in 1971.

3) Kalpakam Atomic Power Station:
It is located at Kalpakam near Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

4) Nero's nuclear power station:
It is located on the banks of the river Ganges in the western part of Uttar Pradesh.

5) Kakrapara nuclear power station:
It is 80 km from Surat in Gujarat. Far away, founded in 1993.

6) Kaiga Atomic Power Station:
This is the second unit of production in 2000. The first unit is under construction. It is built in the Uttara Kannada district. Apart from these, some other units are being set up at Kota, Kaiga and Tarapur centers in Rajasthan.

7) Koodankulam Center:
Established in Koodankulam, Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. The expansion of the project is widespread by the local population.
