Total cost price = 150∗112100=168
Profit is 10%
Selling price = cost price * profit
=168∗110100
=Rs. 184.80
106 X 106 - 94 X 94 = ?

Answer is : 2400
106×106−94×94
=1062−942........(i)
Apply Following Formula (a2−b2=(a+b)(a−b)) on (i)
=(106+94)(106−94)
=(200)(12)
= 2400
The ratio of present ages of Mukesh and Suresh is 2 : 3. After 12 years, their ages will be in the ratio 11 : 15. The present age of Suresh will be-
Nithin K ? Nov 26 '2016 at 19:37
Answer is : 48 years
Explanation:
Let Mukesh's age = 2x or Suresh's age =3x
After 12 years,
2x+123x+12=1115
(2x+12)×15=(3x+12)×11
30x+180=33x+132
48 = 3x
x = 16
∴
= 3 \times 16
= 48 \text{ yr}
The ratio of the radii of two cylinders is 2 : 3 and the ratio of their heights is 5 : 3. The ratio of their volumes will be-
Nithin K ? Nov 26 '2016 at 19:37
Answer is : 48 years
Explanation:
Let Mukesh's age = 2x or Suresh's age =3x
After 12 years,
\frac{2x+12}{3x+12} = \frac{11}{15}
(2x+12) \times 15 = (3x+12) \times 11
30x +180 =33x +132
48 = 3x
x = 16
\therefore \text{ The present age of Suresh will be : }3x
= 3 \times 16
= 48 \text{ yr}
The difference between the compound interest and simple interest on a certain sum for 2 years at the same rate of interest of 10% per annum is Rs. 42. The sum is-
padma ? Jan 2 '2019 at 21:31
Answer is : A [Rs.4,200]
Explanation:
Let the sum be Rs.x. then S.I.= (\frac{x \times 10 \times 2}{100}) = \frac{2x}{10}
C.I = \big[x\big(1+ \frac{10}{100}\big)^2 -x\big] = \frac{121x}{100}
\big[x \big(\frac{121}{100}\big)-x\big] =\frac{21x}{100}
=\frac{21x}{100}
\frac{21x}{100} - \frac{2x}{10} = 42
=> \frac{x}{100} = 42
=> x = 4200
A and B take part in a 100 m race. A runs at 5 km/h. If A starts after B runs 8 m,and wins the race by 8 seconds, the speed of B is
Nithin K ? Nov 26 '2016 at 19:24
Answer is : 4.14 km/ h
Explanation:
\text{A's Speed = } \big(5 \times \frac{5}{18}\big)m/s
= 25 \text{ m/s}
\text{Time taken by A to cover 100 m = }100 \times \frac{18}{25} sec
=72 sec
\text{Time taken by B to cover 92 m = } 72+8
=80 sec
\therefore \text { B's Speed }= \big( \frac{92}{80} \times \frac{18}{5} \big) kmph
=4.14 kmph
