Rohit and Mohit invested in a business. They earned some profit and they shared the profit in the ratio 3:2. If Rohit invested Rs. 60,000, what is the amount invested by Mohit?
ARs. 20,000
BRs. 30,000
CRs. 40,000
DRs. 60,000

Answer is :  Rs. 40,000

Explanation:

Suppose Mohit invested y.

then, \(\frac{60000}{y} = \frac{3}{2}\)

y = \(60000 \times \frac{2}{3} \)

= 40000
